Jordan
Starting with Jordan presenting 10 facts about the Oscars, Jordan used the same set as Chloe but sat on the different side of the sofas. We started filming at 10 and finished at around 10:45. Jordan, like Chloe, was very prepared and knew what he wanted to say. For Jordan's we tried to keep it easy so that editing would be easy; when Jordan finished a fact we would tell another one into a different camera, he did not do this every fact but enough.
On this shoot I was the director and camera operator.
Ben and Taylor
We quickly swapped the set for Ben and Taylor to talk about music. This went reasonably well however there were conflicts over knowing what was written on the script and sticking to it or improvising based on what you want to say. Also a big problem was when the pair had improvised an answer which was fine and usable but they quickly realised and stopped talking efficiently ending the take and possibly preventing it from being used due to the abrupt ending. Filming took place from 11 to 12.
On this shoot I was the boom operator, it was important for me to hold the boom consistently and above the presenters' heads. I had to communicate with the camera operators throughout to make sure the boom was not in shot and neither was the shadow.
Danniella and Matthew
After lunch we filmed Danniella and Matthew's makeup tutorial. I was the model they did the tutorial on therefore was not part of the filming crew.
