We continued the filming for Jack the musical period drama which people have now said is quite comical today.
Since the museum is open till 4 we had to start after that, before then we were busy making shot lists and getting ready. There were more cast today and more supporting artists which helped fill the street however we had less crew, Adam was filming with Rhys and Ben and Jordan didn't come to this shoot, we were also without Matty (the main genius DOP) and Kelly until 6 which meant Danniella took over the unit 2 crew which then became unit 1 and I worked with the unit 1 crew which became unit 2 (a little confusing I know).
I felt really in the zone tonight, I was loving directing and enjoyed how hectic it was. There was a problem with scheduling though as unit 2's first shot had Kane who was in unit 1's scenes so we moved to our next scene in the grocers, we struggled shooting this due to the size, amount of windows and reflections and the fact that it doesn't have a back where the butcher can come from, I directed the scene the best I could making editing notes for Danniella.
We then had to wait for unit 1 to finish a street scene using one of the actors we needed and extras. After they finished, we filmed our scene outside the stables which included Jonny lying on the floor dead with fake blood on his head and the floor. We did the shots with Jonny first as the floor was very cold, we then finished off the shots without only showing the police officers, Dodger and Anderson. After this we didn't film anymore that were scheduled - this meant the first scene we should have filmed and 2 more smaller scenes.
