As part of presentation techniques Ufilms are making a series of videos both pre and post Academy Awards featuring ourselves and a range of topics. We decided on our channel schedule and what topics people would talk about and today we filmed our introduction which will go live on the Sunday before we start our daily videos, 1 week before the Academy Awards. The intro included everyone from UFilms, with members explaining the series, we filmed this on 2 cameras - one centre and one on a crane on the right hand side. After filming, we all staged for a photo which updated our cover photo on Facebook and was posted on Twitter with accompanying tweets about us working in the studio (written by myself).
We had some problems during setting up and taking the video and photo - we were missing a pole from the background therefor the black cloth doesn't fit us all in, we accidentally knocked over a light breaking the bulb - this was an honest mistake and the 5 people in the room when it happened couldn't have caught it in time.
We set up the scene with the red carpet and oscar statues from our premiere night last June, keeping it simple as there would be 11 of us on screen.
