My segment for the UFilms Oscars Rundown is about how a film gets nominated and how politics are involved in the Oscars. I will explain briefly the process and how voting works as well as how politics may influence this year's awards show and how it has in the past.
The video will be me educating/teaching others in the scene as well as the audience, the scene will have to look like a classroom if possible or at least show students at desk with me possibly having a white board.
Since I am by myself my video will be 5 minutes long as opposed to the others whose are 10 minutes long.
The video will be added to channel, in total there will be 6 pre-oscars video segments but it is undecided if my video will go live on a weekday with another segment or on the Saturday before the Oscars. The channel as a whole will show a range of videos looking at different elements and aspects of the Oscars.
I will be alone in this segment but will need two other people to educate and say some lines, these lines help move along the information I am delivering.
It will be filmed in the studio at college, it is undetermined who exactly will film my video but it will be filmed multi camera.
It will be important that the cables and wires are taped down and that equipment and other furniture in the room is tidied away so that it does not become a hazard.
I have decided to use 2 videos from previous Oscars as these will assist in what I am saying.
