Documentary Update - It's in Post-Prod!

I am in post-production! Let the long hours staring at the same clip until my eyes sting begin!

Today, I sorted the footage into appropriate bins to make it easier when editing, I watched some footage to remind me of what I actually had and then imported it into Premiere Pro.

Then came the hard part, where to start? There was so much I had and although the interviews give some structure not enough to say where exactly I need to start. I could start anywhere, which does not make it easy.

I started by looking at the 2 interviews I had and cutting up the questions so that I can put other video cutaways in between them. I have realised I have a lot of footage with both interviews being quite long. Originally, I had said I would do a 3 minute factual film however it is looking like it will be more like 10 minutes due to the sheer amount of footage and detail that is included in the answers.

I am thinking that I would like to have a voice over for the introduction and a conclusion.

I decided on the first shot of the video and made the title however I do have another idea as to what I want to do for the title but will come back to this when I have on the timeline and a better understanding as to how long the doc will be.

I am looking forward to editing this piece however know it will be hard for me to cut some of the footage that I may like but is not needed for the doc.
